A Mission
At 570 Jiu Jitsu, we’re not chasing trends or faking rank. We’re preserving what matters — authentic Jiu Jitsu, meaningful relationships, and growth that’s earned over time.
Founded by Coach Scott Diggs, a lifelong martial artist and community advocate, our academy is built on experience, purpose, and the belief that training can transform lives.
Coach Diggs is the highest-ranking Jiu Jitsu instructor in Lycoming County and the only person ever certified by Gracie University’s Instructor Certification Program in the region. With over 40 years in martial arts, he’s trained amateurs and professionals alike, including athletes in Bellator MMA, Lion Fight Muay Thai, and BKFC Bare Knuckle Boxing. But more importantly, he’s remained active, evolving, and on the mat — year after year.
While others took breaks or looked for shortcuts, we stayed on the mat — training, teaching, and building something that lasts. That’s the difference.

With over 40 years in martial arts and nearly two decades in Jiu Jitsu, Coach Scott brings both depth and integrity to the mats. He’s the area's highest-ranking instructor, a certified Gracie University instructor, and a former mental health court delegate.
Our coaching staff includes some of the region’s most accomplished competitors and instructors. The results speak for themselves — on the podium and in our students’ everyday lives.

Community Impact
We’re committed to more than martial arts.
From hosting women’s self-defense seminars and law enforcement workshops to sponsoring students facing hardship, our goal is to serve the people who walk through our doors — and the ones who can’t yet.
Our future vision includes an on-site dormitory to support young adults aging out of foster care, providing structure, housing, and access to training and mentorship.
