Scott is owner and head instructor of 570 Jiu Jitsu. In July of 2023, Coach Diggs was certified as a Gracie University Instructor by Ryron and Rener Gracie of the legendary fight family. He is the only certified instructor in central PA. Coach Diggs received his blue belt from Rodrigo Gracie in 2008, he received his brown belt in 2017 from Jeff Reese. Scott has trained extensively with multiple world champions and world class competitors across the country. Having consistently trained, competed and coached at the highest levels, since 2006, he has a vast knowledge of old school jiu jitsu for self defense as well as modern sport jiu jitsu. He is the highest ranking instructor in and around Lycoming County. He also has extensive experience coaching professional fighters in events such as Bellator FC, Lion Fight Muay Thai, BKFC and much more. His coaching acumen is unparalleled regionally. His goal is to bring authentic Jiu Jitsu to Lycoming County and facilitate his students learning in a safe, fun filled environment while ensuring they learn correctly and efficiently.
JEFF REESE
Jeff, Gracie Jiu-jitsu black belt, has had the honor of learning from two generations of Gracie family members including Royce, Royler, Rodrigo, Rolker, Ralek, Rener, and Ryron! It has been 22 years since, in January 2000, at the age of 28, Jeff strolled into a local Gracie affiliate with a goal in mind of finding a fun hobby, effective fitness, and real world self defense. Having wrestled since a very early age and having witnessed Royce Gracie do his thing in the early days of UFC, Jeff enjoyed the idea of grappling to accomplish his goals. By the time Jeff had earned his third stripe on his blue belt he was already instructing lessons. When his local instructors walked away from jiu-jitsu for an extended leave Jeff took over teaching full time. Liked for his friendly demeanor, passion for instructing, and his ego-less training methodology. With students driving well over an hour to attend classes, students booking private lessons, and gym owners bringing him in for seminars at their academy’s, Jeff is one of the most sought after instructors in Pennsylvania.
KALEB WATTS
Kaleb comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and competitive experience. He is an accomplished grappler with a high level acumen and aptitude for the game. Currently a purple belt, he has a fun loving demeanor, but don’t let that fool you. He is absolutely frightening on the mat. He has competed at all levels and actively pursues cutting edge meta in order to challenge the current paradigm. If you’re looking to level up check him out for Thursday night no gi comp classes or find him chilling with his pet bird, “bird”.
